Message cool
can you make more and start a group buy?

:A TT member asked about purchasing motor lifting lugs. I made mine and it worked great, (helps when you have a sheetmetal shop at work). I used .20 or 6 ga plate for the actual brackets, I made a spreader bar out of 1/2" threaded rod and nuts so the force on the plates was upward and would not pull inward applying force on the plenum. The inside nuts were placed at 26 5/8" apart, the rod was 31" long. (I placed a SS tube over the rod for looks and additional strength but I don't think it was required). I did not use the factory bolts to attach the plates, I purchased at Home Depot (4) 8 mm 1.25 pitch x 25 mm hardened socket head bolts, (a minimum of grade 5 is required). The top bolts were 1/2" diameter and fit the inside of the chain. The chain links were a little big so the safety latch on the lifting hook would not close properly, (a smaller chain may work better). If anyone would like a sketch of the plate dimensions e-mail me.
